Who Makes Xian Xian Dolls?

Two new Xian Xian Supermodel fashion dolls and high-end outfits arrived in April.

After two more Xian Xian Supermodel fashion dolls arrived from China, I wanted to know more about the company that manufactures these China-made dolls. The indented text is what I learned.

The Xian Xian Princess Dolls are produced by Henan ZongGuanXian Culture Communication Co., Ltd, a Chinese manufacturer based in Henan province. The brand was established in 2012 by GE Peixian, a designer recognized for winning the third Asian Young Wedding Dress Designer Competition.cnxianxain.en.made-in-china.comAlibaba

Henan ZongGuanXian specializes in creating a wide range of dolls and accessories, offering customization services for various sizes, clothing, and features. They provide both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) services, allowing for tailored designs based on client specifications.Alibaba+2cnxianxain.en.made-in-china.com+2Alibaba+2

The Xian Xian dolls are available through various online platforms, including Alibaba, AliExpress, and eBay, and are known for their affordability and customizable options. Some collectors compare them to higher-end brands like Integrity Toys, noting their value for those seeking similar aesthetics at a lower price point.

This stock photo of the dolls illustrates their extra articulation.

Sold without clothes, my dolls arrived undamaged in separate plastic bags wrapped in several sturdy layers of bubble wrap inside a plastic mailer.

One doll has flocked hair; the other doll has rooted hair.

Their head sculpt and hairstyles differ from the original Xian Xian Supermodels. This new head sculpt is available with a choice of three hairstyles.

This stock photo illustrates the three new styles.

The one I did not order, the center doll above, has banana curls.

Three/fourth-inch map pins serve as stud earrings.

The flocked-haired doll has red colored lips. The one with the short curly hair has pink lips.

In this stock photo, the two fashions I ordered are modeled by the dolls that use the original Supermodel sculpt. The black sheer top appears to open in the front, but the top I received does not; it has a back snap closure at the neck. The neck area is adorned with a gold chain with straight gold pieces dangling from it.

The two fashions did not include shoes, but I had a pair of black heels and a pair of red pumps that fit their larger-than-Barbie's feet.

The top of this fashion is see-through. So, I added a black faux leather bolero underneath (it was not worn in the close-up photos above).

The fashion is worn without the sheer top to illustrate the bolero. The red pants are also faux leather.

The flocked-haired doll's looks can be changed with wigs, which is why I wanted her. She models three wigs next.

The blonde and black wig from the Barbie You Create Kit No. 003 changes her look.

Here she shadows her 1970s inner Angela Davis with a black Afro wig.

The Afro wig changes her look, too.

This handmade half loc'd and half flocked wig is becoming on her. She struck several poses while wearing it.

Oh yes, this wig looks great on her from the back, too.

She's really loving this wig.

I would love for the company to create and sell wigs for these dolls and more high-end fashion packs with shoes, or separately sold shoes designed for them; however, until freight charges and import fees are no longer added to the cost of products sold in China, I will not purchase anything that requires absorbing unnecessary fees.

Still wearing the loc'd and flocked wig, she posed with her sister-friend here and in the next photo.

Both dolls are quite gorgeous.

After the wig play concluded, they posed for one final photo for this post.

I like them so much that I know dressing, redressing, and rewigging the flocked-haired doll will continue. (And to think that I started not to order them at first... I'm so glad I did before the tariffs on China kicked in (now eased from 145% to 30%, but Americans will still pay more for goods made in China). I paid $18 each for these dolls, which were selling for twice that amount or more on the same site after those ridiculous tariffs on China went into effect.
